Your website is not a project. It's a system.

Two colleagues at a laptop, one pointing at a web page on the screen

Most B2B websites follow the same cycle. A big redesign, a launch, and then 35 months of slow decay while buyers keep arriving. By the time the next project starts, the site has been out of date for longer than it was ever current.

Meanwhile the buying journey has moved. Most of the research behind a SaaS or B2B purchase happens before anyone talks to sales. Your website is doing the selling whether you manage it or not.

The redesign trap

A redesign is an all-or-nothing bet. Everything changes at once, so nobody learns what actually worked. Ownership ends at launch, the developer moves on, and every small change becomes a ticket in someone else's backlog. Six months later the pricing page still shows last year's plans.

Treat the website like a product

A product has an owner, a backlog and a release rhythm. Give the website the same three things:

  • One owner in the marketing team who can publish without asking.
  • One backlog of hypotheses. "A comparison table on the pricing page will lift demo requests."
  • One KPI: Pipeline created from the site. Pageviews are a vanity metric. Contacts and deals are the job.

The five pages that do the selling

Every SaaS or B2B site needs the same five pages, and each has one job:

  1. Home: Say what you do and who it is for, in one screen.
  2. Product or solution: Show how it works and what changes for the buyer.
  3. Pricing: Answer what it costs and why, before sales has to.
  4. Proof: Case studies, logos and numbers where decisions are made.
  5. Contact or demo: Make the next step obvious and short.

If one of these is missing or weak, more traffic will not fix it.

Measure it where the deals live

When forms feed straight into HubSpot, you can follow a visitor from page to contact to deal. "Is the website working?" stops being an opinion and becomes a report: Which pages create contacts, and which contacts become pipeline.

The weekly routine

Thirty minutes. One page. One hypothesis. Change it, publish it, read the numbers next week. That is the whole system, and it only works when publishing takes minutes instead of tickets.

That is what Omni is built for. Set colors, fonts and buttons once in the theme settings, drag in the sections you need, and improve the site every week without writing code.
