Tell people who is behind it

An about page answers one question: Can I trust these people? Start with a sentence on why the company exists, then let the sections below do the rest.

The story

Why the company exists

This is the Text section module with two columns. Use the first for the story: The problem you saw, what you did about it, and where it took you. Readers remember a story long after they forget a list of services.

Write it the way you would tell it across a table. Short paragraphs, plain words, and one detail nobody else could have written.

The second column

Use it for what you do today, or for a second part of the story. Change the gap between the columns and the line length under Styles → Layout, or pick a single column instead.

Headings, lists, links and quotes all work in both columns.

Key figures

The company in four numbers

  • 2,026

    Founded

The year the company started. Turn the thousands separator off under Styles → Layout when the number is a year.

  • 4

    Figures in this row

Four columns suit short labels. Use three when the descriptions get longer.

  • 12

    People

How many work here, or how many offices, countries or customers.

  • 100 %

    Percent of anything

A suffix turns a number into a percentage.

Values

What the company stands for

Name the value

One short title per card. A value is something you would turn down work for.

Say what it means

One sentence on what it looks like in practice, so it reads as a promise.

Keep it to four

Four values are remembered. Eight are skimmed.

Pick the card style

Tinted, outlined, elevated, plain or pill, under Styles → Layout.

The team

The people behind the work

Each person gets a portrait, a name, a role, a short bio and links to e-mail, phone and LinkedIn.

A quote

One customer, in their own words

A single quote on an about page carries more weight than a wall of them. Pick the one that says what working with you is like.
